Learn to Sail – school holidays course for children
Monday October 10 until Friday 14 October, 2011 from 8:30am to 12:30 pm daily.
“Get Into Small Boat Sailing” is a fully accredited course
for those wishing to learn the basics of sailing dinghies or
catamarans. It is designed to teach students how to sail, starting
with the essential skills. We then teach more skills and techniques
as students progress through the course so that by the end they
will be ready to start racing their own boat if they choose.
Shelley Sailing Club is a Yachting Australia accredited training centre for
the National Small Boat Sailing Scheme. We are situated on the banks of
the Canning River at the end of Shelley Beach. The sheltered conditions
make it an ideal place to learn to sail and a great environment to continue
with club sailing. We are a small club where families are welcomed and
we offer a range of sailing opportunities to give everyone the chance to
be involved, have fun, and improve their skills.
